Ideas that fit

Pitch explanations of creative methods, comparisons between approaches, design history that illuminates a current idea, or thoughtful accounts of feedback and revision. We look for a distinct subject, a defined reader benefit and advice readers can consider without specialist equipment or professional sign-off.

A useful pitch

Send a short summary of the proposed piece, its central point, the intended reader and the examples or sources you expect to use. Explain what makes the subject distinct from existing coverage. A working title is helpful, but a polished draft is not required for an initial proposal.
