Editorial policy
Rising Design Journal aims to make design thinking understandable and dependable. We distinguish explanation from opinion, take care with examples and correct meaningful errors when they are brought to our attention.
Accuracy and clarity
Articles are written to explain their subject clearly and avoid presenting a personal preference as a universal rule. We check names, terminology and factual statements against material suited to the claim, and make uncertainty clear when a point depends on context. Readers can contact us with a correction and enough detail to identify the passage; we review it and amend the text when warranted.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. If content is sponsored or produced with a partner, it will be clearly labelled so readers can understand the relationship. Partner placements across the site are identified as partner material and do not determine our editorial conclusions.
Illustrations and authorship
Illustrations may be used to clarify an idea or give a page visual shape. Some illustrations are AI-generated, and we label them where appropriate so readers are not led to mistake them for documentary images. We do not claim first-hand testing or research unless an article explicitly describes work that was actually done.
Design gets clearer when the question does
We focus on the choices behind creative work, not just its finished appearance. A clear question can make the next step easier to see.
